This original watercolour painting of "Sunlit Serenity" was based on a beautiful coastline.
From the Artist:“Sunlit Serenity” was conceived from 2 major influences. The first was admiration for the peaceful and beautiful painting, “View along the Norman Coast”, by Eugene Isabey, and my enjoyable studies of the Impressionist Masterpieces at the Museum of Fine Arts-Houston.
As I began my painting, I visualized a dramatic rocky coastline and beach drenched in sunlight following a rainstorm. With the sea now calm and wet reflections disappearing from the land, I hoped to portray an emerging feeling of peace and deep serenity.
