Education and StudiesLinda obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. While at Louisiana Tech, she studied art under M. Douglas Walton, who was a student himself under noted watercolorist, Edgar Whitney. Linda has continued her studies focusing mainly on watercolor, under numerous well known artists in workshops throughout the United States as well as through personal instruction.

Linda has been accepted in numerous juried art shows and various jurors have recognized her watercolors with many awards, including the M. Graham & Co. Inspiration and Painting Award for "We The People" at the Northwest Watercolor Society's 71st Annual Open International Exhibition; the John William "Bill" Guthrie Memorial Award for "Parisian Dreams" at the Louisiana Watercolor Society's 41st International Exhibition; and a Merchandise Award for "4 Liberty" at the Watercolor Art Society-Houston's 41st Annual Members Exhibit.
Her works of art, including commissioned works, have been purchased by numerous corporations and private collectors around the country. Linda’s watercolors have also been promoted in several One Woman Shows, and was also featured in conjunction with the A. D. Players Theatre production of “Sister Calling My Name”.
