While my husband and I were on our honeymoon in Paris, we were thrilled to see the uniqueness and actual size of the Eiffel Tower, appreciating both its structure and delicacy of ironwork. This became my inspiration for the painting “La Tour Du Gardien”. Its beauty and history formed my impression that it was not only a romantic icon, but a “watchman’s tower” of new developments and historical remembrance.
